Sample Itinerary from 2024: October 31 - November 4, 2024
Thursday - Fly into the absolutely stunning valley of Jackson, Wyoming (JAC) to be welcomed by Brooke and Arthur. Settle into your cozy hotel, which features a heated indoor/outdoor pool, a hot tub, and other nice amenities. After filling your belly at one of Jackson’s delicious restaurants, enjoy a short welcome presentation by your guides and dive into goals and objectives for the trip.
Friday to Sunday - Wake up before sunrise, enjoy a warm breakfast, and head into the park for the best morning light possible. The morning and evening light this time of year can be absolutely breathtaking, so we will maximize our time to ensure we follow the light in hopes of creating the most spectacular wildlife images. Remember to keep a close watch for wildlife as we explore this visually stunning valley - it can be hard to take your eyes off of these mountains! In the lowlands, moose congregations are generally a highlight this time of year, as well as migrating elk. Black and grizzly bears can be spotted roaming the valley in search of their last few meals, while wolves and birds of prey begin to increase their activity as the cold weather returns. After a full day of exploring and getting to know the local wildlife, review your images from the day while receiving expert advice from Brooke and Arthur on how to bring the best out of your photos in post. Enjoy a fun group dinner in town afterwards, or take the night off and prepare for the next day.
Monday - Enjoy a group breakfast as you relive the memories you created on this adventure before attending one last image review session with Brooke and Arthur before. Now is a great time to fine tune your dream image! Pack your bags and head to the airport before saying see you soon to your new wild friends!
