Wednesday - Arrive in Petersburg, AK to be welcomed by Brooke & Arthur. Get settled into your room aboard the Hawkeye II before exploring town and meeting your new friends. Take a stroll in the narrow channels of Petersburg as you search for sea lions, seals, and bald eagles. Enjoy a group welcome dinner in town before spending your first night on ship in the harbor - get ready, tomorrow we set off to sea!

Thursday - Set sail through the grandiose fjords of Southeast Alaska as you make your way towards Thomas Bay as you keep an eye out for humpbacks, orcas, and porpoises. Upon arrival, explore the coast in search of powerful glaciated landscapes and the chance at seeing black and brown bears emerging from hibernation. Enjoy your first night at sea anchored in a quiet cove with a warm meal.

Friday - After spending your morning enjoying the breathtaking scenery, cruise through Frederick Sound in search of whales and sea lions as we begin to make our way north towards Admiralty Island. Depending on weather and animal activity, enjoy interpretive beach walks with your guides as you search for eagles, sea lions, and bears along the densely forested coastline. Spend the night at anchor in one of Admiralty Island’s many stunning coves and bays.

Saturday through Monday - Explore the bays and fjords surrounding Admiralty Island, which is home to the densest population of brown bears on earth. Walk fairytale like trails through one of the oldest rainforests in the world and hike along various watersheds that dot the island’s stunning coastline in search of inspiring encounters with brown bears and bald eagles. Stand in awe before some of the most inspiring and mind boggling landscapes in the world created by ice and brought to life by the rain. Spend your free time enjoying the scenery on board, stand-up paddleboarding, or improving your editing techniques thanks to Brooke and Arthur’s expert guidance.

Tuesday - Cruise south as you look for whales, porpoises, and sea lions on the way back to Petersburg. After arriving in the morning and enjoying a hearty meal, set off on one final adventure to discover the incredible LeConte Glacier on a smaller more maneuverable boat with your guides and captain. Take it all in one last time before our final group dinner back aboard the Hawkeye II in the evening.

Wednesday - Wake up in Petersburg to a warm breakfast and a group of friends smiling ear to ear after a soul-filling week together. Your guides and crew will be with you until your departing flight mid day. Our time together may have been short, but the memories and images we’ve created will last a lifetime!
